Just a reminder, today and tomorrow is our Fall Celebration Sale. And we have some more goodies in store for you. the black market is having a cavewarming party!!! you are formally invited to dance and drink and be debaucherous with us at the fez (318 sw 11th) on tuesday, august 22nd. mr. combichrist himself, dj andy, will be our guest for the evening, spinning stompy industrial for all you rivetheads. dj horrid and dj carrion will be spinning as well, and they promise lots of gothy stuff we can actually dance to =) this party is 21+ but for all you youngens, dj andy will be present in the market at 128 nw 23rd ave from 5-6:30 to sign autographs and chat with folks. and we'll all be heavily and beautifully pierced for your viewing pleasure (except for derek, because he's a dork =p), provided by the girls of robot piercing. come and have a spooky fun time! =) the garden is now on myspace at www.myspace.com/scarletgardencongrats to jon, his disembodied head, and the girls of robot for winning the best of portland in this weeks willamette weekly! we can both vouch for their piercing abilities and magic powers =) the garden has the first of lippy's pre fall line in, which is absolutely lovely and quite romantic. cinchers, bodices, and ribbons, oh my! we also received larenim's line of goth mineral makeup, in all the colors we love, and so pure, you can even sleep in it all day. steady's also sent us another shipment, so come rumage through our closet. =) ~tsg~ xox |

For the ladies, come see our new selection of Eternal Love 'kerchief skirts and romantic blouses, available in a variety of colors. The skirts are black lace dripping over richly colored fabric in a classic handkerchief pattern. The blouses are also covered in lace with wonderful full belle sleeves and a corseted back ending in an elegant point. Their loveliness is truly something to behold! And the fall collection of Lip Service is starting to trickle in. Lovely lace covered waist cinchers with a hooked front and tie up back and beautiful new corset backed shirts. Both of these items are available in black, white or a deep blood color.
We have also received the ever stylish Beverly dress from Shrine. Made from rich black velvet, this dress is both cute and edgy with metal rings and studs wrapped around the waist and an embroidered design stitched into the front of the bodice. And for the guys, never fear! New industrial vests and lace up pants from Shrine have just come in. Both are made from high quality heavy denim and have the edgy style you've been looking for. The vest has 5 heavy duty metal D-Rings and closed clasps running up the front and O-rings at the bottom of each side. The pants have a laced up front as well as laces running at the top of each side.
Wanting something a little more romantic? New cotton poet's shirts may just be what you've been waiting for. And we have finally received the ruffle shirts everybody has been asking for! i found a place to set up shop today =) I'll be in the old metro building at 128 Nw 23rd Ave along with robot piercing, ozone records, and gorey details. it's a wonderful location, and it's ready right away. no need to be painted or decorated and many of the fixtures are already there and ready to use. i'll be moving up many of my merchandise shipping dates and will be working 'round the clock to get everything taken care of so that, with luck, i'll be opening in early april. this is actually ridiculous and fell into my lap from nowhere. i'm stunned. just stunned. this means i'll be hiring shop help soon, and looking for local designers to showcase their goods in the shop. have any ideas? let me know...
